Rodeo Ministries
was founded by its president
Tony Shoulders,
one of the first of many
professional rodeo cowboys to commit his life to Jesus Christ.

Following family
tradition, competing in bareback
riding and bull riding, Tony qualified for the National Finals Rodeo in High
School and College . He became a member of
the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in 1979. For over ten years he
competed full time riding bulls and broncs at Professional rodeos across the
nation, qualifying him for the PRCA Circuit Finals in the
Turquoise and Prairie Circuits.
In 1988, Tony was led by the Holy Spirit to begin intensive Bible study and start training for ministry on the rodeo circuit. He became a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel in 1992. Soon after, he created Rodeo Ministries, and in 1994 it became fully recognized as a 501-C-3 non-profit co-operation.
